Would you like to join a charity recognized as a great place to work (Investors in People / Best Companies Awards)? Join them at the start of an exciting journey with their new cutting-edge criminal justice support programme.  The contract runs for three years, with a likely two-year extension. We are helping this charity recruit a brand-new team, and they have multiple roles available. In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation. The key focus is resettlement and securing employment, which includes helping clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support. You will provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to aid their progress. You will work across HMP The Mount and probation trusts at Watford, St Albans, and Hemel Hempstead (so a car driver is essential). To apply, you must have experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting. Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness is valuable. Criminology graduates with volunteer experience are also encouraged to apply. Please apply via this advert – we aim to respond to everyone. If you haven't heard back within 72 hours, please complete the "Send Us A Message" form on the Contact Us page on the Red 5 People website, and we guarantee a real person will get back to you. For more details about the role, please call the office and ask for James. You might have previously worked as a prison officer, probation officer, resettlement worker, supported housing officer, drug and alcohol worker, careers advisor, employment advisor or hostel worker. There are heaps of benefits to.  25 days leave (increasing over time). 2 days paid volunteering. Enhanced pension scheme. Life assurance. They are a large charity, and have internal staff networks with groups such as LGBTQ+ Support Network, Racial Equality Network, Disability Equality Network, Women’s Network, Men’s Network, Young Professionals Network, Menopause Peer Support Group, Neurodiversity Network
