About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for those with classroom experience who are passionate about education and confident in delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in Key Stages 3 and 4
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide support and ensure continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence
Build positive relationships with students and staff
Follow lesson plans and ensure pupil progress is maintained

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced cover supervisor you will:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
A confident, professional and adaptable approach
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A passion for supporting young people in education
A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
