EYFS Lead - Early Years Foundation Stage - Permanent Position (Full-Time) Location: Harrow, London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (Dependent on experience) We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead to join our Outstanding Ofsted-rated school in Harrow, starting in September 2025. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher to take on a leadership role, shaping the early years provision and supporting a passionate team of educators. About the Role: As EYFS Lead, you will have the responsibility of leading and developing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, ensuring it is delivered to the highest standards and meets the needs of all children. You will work collaboratively with the EYFS team to create an inspiring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the personal, social, and academic development of children. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our school’s leadership team and make a significant impact on the future of our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the EYFS team, providing guidance, support, and professional development to staff. * Ensure the EYFS curriculum is delivered effectively, promoting a child-centered, play-based approach to learning. * Monitor and track children’s progress, ensuring that all children meet their developmental milestones and achieve their full potential. * Work closely with the senior leadership team to contribute to the overall school development plan and strategic direction. * Ensure that the learning environment is safe, inclusive, and stimulating, with resources that support the diverse needs of all children. * Liaise with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and engagement in their child’s learning journey. * Regularly assess and review the impact of teaching, adapting strategies and interventions where necessary. * Lead EYFS meetings, fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture. The Ideal Candidate: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Early Years. * Proven experience teaching in EYFS, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. * Leadership experience or the ability to take on a leadership role, with a passion for developing others. * A deep understanding of child development and how to create a learning environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external partners. * A commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, with a track record of improving outcomes for children in the early years. * A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to leadership.
