Reception Teacher
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Role
As a Reception Class Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
Plan and assess in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to ensure every child progresses.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to foster strong relationships and a supportive learning community.
Encourage play-based learning and exploration to develop key skills in early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing individualised support where needed.
Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Early Years.
Is passionate about early childhood education and understands the developmental needs of young children.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-centred learning approaches.
Is adaptable, reflective, and eager to contribute to a positive school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
