Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a love for early years education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed EYFS Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Harrow, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position at a school where the development of young learners is at the heart of everything we do. About Us: Our school is a warm, welcoming place where every child is cherished and encouraged to thrive. With a Good Ofsted rating, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where both children and staff are supported in their growth and development. We are committed to providing high-quality early years education that lays a strong foundation for the academic, social, and emotional development of our youngest learners. Our dedicated team of professionals work collaboratively to create an engaging, stimulating, and fun learning environment for our students. We believe in the importance of play-based learning and providing experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in the early years. The Role: As an EYFS Teacher, you will have the important responsibility of creating a positive, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children in their first years of formal education. You will deliver a high-quality curriculum that fosters a love of learning and supports children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work closely with a supportive team to ensure that each child’s needs are met, and you’ll be instrumental in laying the groundwork for their future academic success. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all children in the EYFS. * Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning. * Assess and monitor each child’s progress and development, providing regular feedback and support to ensure they achieve their potential. * Foster children’s social, emotional, and personal growth, ensuring they develop confidence, independence, and positive relationships. * Work closely with colleagues to provide a holistic, child-centred approach to education. * Develop positive and strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s development both in school and at home. * Contribute to the wider school community through school events, extracurricular activities, and collaboration with staff. What We Offer: * A permanent, full-time position starting in September 2025. * A supportive and inclusive school community that values professional development and staff well-being. * Access to excellent teaching resources and well-equipped classrooms. * Opportunities for career progression and personal development. * A work-life balance with a focus on staff welfare. * The chance to work in a collaborative and engaging environment, with dedicated colleagues committed to the success of all learners. What We’re Looking For: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching within the EYFS setting, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. * A passionate, creative approach to teaching and learning that inspires young children. * Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing environment. * The ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and a positive approach to challenges. Location: Our school is located in the heart of Harrow, a vibrant area with excellent transport links to central London and surrounding areas. Harrow offers a blend of urban convenience and peaceful suburban living, with plenty of green spaces, local amenities, and a close-knit community, making it an ideal place to live and work.
