Maintenance Operative for 6-Month Project – Commercial Sites
Location: Brighton
Contract Length: 6 Months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate: £14.42 Per Hour PAYE-Equivilent to £30,000 per annum.
We’re recruiting a dependable and skilled maintenance operative to support a 6-month project across commercial sites in Brighton and the surrounding areas.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works across a portfolio of commercial properties.
Conduct general fabric maintenance, including but not limited to carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, minor repairs, and other building fabric duties.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service while working independently across various sites.Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar building/fabric maintenance role.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Strong fault-finding skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
Full UK driving licence – this is essential.
