Job Description
Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join our well-established client based in Smethwick.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful and growing business. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both fabrication and welding, with a background in working with structural steel components.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components to precise specifications
Fabricate structural assemblies including weighbridges and ramps
Weld and fabricate end plates and pin stools
Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
Work with mild steel thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 25mm
Ensure all fabrication and welding meets quality and industry standards
Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure continuous improvement in processes and output
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 06:30 am – 4:15 pm (Fridays off) – 37.5 hours per week
Plenty of overtime available
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour
Permanent position offered after a successful trial period
