Job Description

School Site Cluster Manager. **North & Northwest London. **37 hours per week. **Temp-to-Perm Contract. **In charge of Facilities Management & Site Staff **Site Management, Health & Safety Policies and Facilities experience essential. Active Recruitment are hiring a Site Cluster Manager to work across a Trust of Schools based across West London. This is an ASAP Start, on a temp-to-perm basis. Our client runs a trust of schools across West London and the successful candidate must have relevant experience of being a senior site manager, experienced caretaker and have a good knowledge of building management, site maintenance and be able to comply with all relevant Health & Safety, risk management and infrastructure legislation. Core Duties Include but not limited to: * Responsible for the overall operational management and maintenance of the London Cluster including oversight of grounds, catering, security/key holding and cleaning services where applicable. * Work with the Principals, the Operations Manager, the Site Managers and Trust estates team to identify long-term infrastructure/premises issues, propose solutions, and support delivery of major projects. * Working with the estates team, adopt and implement estates initiatives and systems leading in the review of condition to support project planning. * Act as an energy champion to reduce and manage energy consumption. This could include using tracking systems, taking daily reading, changing building management system setting to achieve the optimum settings of system to provide adequate service and minimal consumption of energy. gas, electricity, water and generation systems. * Support Senior Leadership Team with the effective and efficient running of the Academy premises, including health and safety compliance and contract management, ensure operational resources are in place to deliver the School Improvement Plan and comply with all legal requirements in relation to health &safety, security and the environment. * Taking a lead to ensure that all School systems are adhered to including leading on compliance and development planning with Site Managers and Supervisors. * Use appropriate systems to monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of facilities management within the academy. * Ensuring all Health and Safety legislation is up-to-date and checked regularly. * Budget Management. * Adhering to all safeguarding procedures. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: * Experience as a caretaker, site supervisor or similar role * Good working knowledge of management and maintenance of buildings, mechanical, electrical and other infrastructure systems. * Knowledge of health and safety, first aid, medical, fire safety, risk management regulations and requirements. * Recognised Health & Safety training i.e. IOSH or NEBOSH * Recognised facilities management qualification * Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
