Job Description
Spencer Clarke Group are seekinga Family Support Worker for a local authority based in North London.
In this role, you'll work closely with families to assess needs, coordinate support, and deliver targeted early help interventions.
Key Duties:
Assess and support families by creating and delivering tailored, outcome-focused plans.
Work collaboratively with professionals across health, education, social care, and other agencies.
Provide direct support to children, young people, and families through individual and group interventions.
Maintain high standards in case recording, reporting, and professional development.Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Direct experience working with children, young people, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, early help frameworks, and multi-agency working.
Skilled in assessment and planning, with the ability to create and deliver effective support interventions.
Confident in case management, report writing, and using IT systems to maintain accurate records.What's on offer:
Salary: £19+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
