Job Description
Machine Tool Service Engineers required for a rapidly growing maintenance and service provider to the Aerospace industry. Working with leading manufacturers on high tech machinery, this offers an excellent opportunity within a stable and progressive environment.
Service Engineer x2 – Mechanical or Electrical
£40,000 - £55,000 + Paid overtime, Door to Door, Paid travel, Pension & Co vehicle.
Travel across the UK – Must be flexible to stay away during the week

Service Engineer - The Role:
* Travel to customer sites across the UK to attend machine breakdown and perform routine maintenance
* Installation & commission of CNC machinery Identification & rectification of machine faults
* Interacting with customers & other company staff, driving customer satisfaction
* Document & report on action taken, submitting all paperwork in a timely manner
Service Engineer - The Person:
* Either electrical or mechanical bias
* Solid background of providing CNC machine tool service/maintenance with ability to fault find on CNC controls across a wide range of machine tools – Siemens 840D and/or Fanuc preferred
* Experience working on larger ranges of CNC machines tools that would often be found within the Aerospace industry
* Ideally come from a machine tool manufacturer in either a Maintenance, Field Service or Project Engineering position for a number of years & have the ability to display extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools & a passion to learn & develop
* Ability to liaise with customers of all levels & of varying technical abilities is required
This position is open to Engineers who haver either a mechanical or electrical bias. Experience within machine tool projects is highly desirable but not essential if you have the correct ability working on CNC controlled machinery.
This is a home based role and you will be located within the North West, West or East Midlands, with easy access to main motorway network.
