CNC Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools
UK Travel (Midlands, Lanacashire and Yorkshire Based)
Up to £50,000 Basic + OT + Expenses
Overnight Stays Required
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join a globally recognised CNC machinery manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who enjoys travel and variety in their work, with the security of a well-established and supportive employer.
The Role
As a key member of the field service team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to clients across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
Attending customer sites for installation, service, repair, and breakdown support of CNC machine tools
Troubleshooting and fault finding across both electrical and mechanical systems
Providing technical support and advice to customers on-site
Working closely with the Service Manager and engineering team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
About You
We're looking for an engineer with a solid foundation in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, ideally with experience in the CNC or machine tools sector.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous field service experience within a similar environment
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Relevant engineering qualifications
Experience with Siemens or Fanuc CNC control systems
PLC knowledge - desirable but not essential
A proactive attitude and willingness to travel and stay away when required
