Your work will ensure charges are fair, transparent, and accurate, directly contributing to great customer experiences and well-managed properties. This is more than just a back-office finance role. You will be working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple departments, engaging with residents, and helping shape the way service charges are set and managed. What’s on Offer?  Salary: £27,648p/a Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full time Hybrid working: 3 days in the office Location: Eastleigh Excellent Benefits: 28 days holiday + BH, enhanced pension contributions, life assurance, EAP, staff loans including a Cycle to Work scheme, plus many more Key Responsibilities: Maintaining and updating the property database, including setting up new properties and handling system handovers Preparing and issuing accurate service charge and rent calculations in line with legislation, policies, and agreements Breaking down and allocating costs across tenants and leaseholders based on individual agreements Tracking utility usage, analysing trends, and supporting accurate forecasting Reviewing charges from external managing agents to ensure fairness and compliance Responding to resident queries, attending meetings, and offering support around service charges and rent Supporting property sales by completing solicitor questionnaires and processing requests related to right-to-buy and other schemes Advising colleagues on complex service charge or rent-related matters Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Background in finance, accounting, or property management, with strong numeracy and analytical skills Solid knowledge of service charge regulations and best practice, with experience interpreting leases or tenancy agreements Excellent Excel skills and confident working with complex data and large datasets Clear and effective communicator, able to explain financial matters to non-financial audiences Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing deadlines A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and sharing knowledge Ideally you will have knowledge of Service Charge legislation including Landlords and Tenant Act 1985, Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, Service Charge (Consultation Requirements) (England) Regulations 2003) How to Apply: This role offers a chance to combine financial skills with real-world impact, helping to keep homes running smoothly and costs fair for residents.
