Job Title: Finisher - New Build Housing Site
Location: Whitby
Pay Rate: £21.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing
CSCS Card: Mandatory
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Finisher to join a residential new build development in Whitby. This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent work and competitive rates on a well-managed site.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing final snagging works on newly built residential units
Carrying out high-quality touch-ups on plaster, paintwork, sealant, and basic joinery
Preparing plots to a handover standard in line with site management expectations
Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment at all times
Working independently and to tight deadlines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Previous experience working as a finisher on residential new build sites
Good all-round skills across patch plastering, decorating, mastic, and general handover tasks
Own tools and PPE
Positive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision
