Job Description

Finishing Manager (Construction) Location: Greater Dublin Area Full-time | Residential Construction Salary: €60k - €75k Our client, a leading residential property developer, is currently hiring a Finishing Manager to oversee the final stages of home delivery across large-scale housing developments. This is a key position for an experienced professional who can manage multiple teams, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure handovers are completed on time and to an exceptional standard. Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire finishing process from plastering/skimming to final handover, ensuring high standards of delivery Take ownership of Health & Safety, snagging, programme timelines, and aftercare resolution Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and service providers for finishing works (kitchens, joinery, appliances, bathrooms, etc.) Monitor delivery programmes and report on progress weekly, taking corrective actions to avoid delays Lead internal quality control processes including inspections, documentation, and sign-offs (e.g. DMS/Zutec systems) Attend daily coordination meetings, resolve issues promptly, and ensure handovers are in line with RTS/RTO deadlines Liaise with Sales, Completions, and Legal teams to ensure smooth transition from site completion to homeowner handover Support and lead the finishing team, including coaching, mentoring, and development of direct reports Deliver a best-in-class customer service experience to homeowners and stakeholders Requirements: Previous experience in a Finishing Manager or Foreperson role on residential construction sites Trade background preferred (e.g. carpentry, plastering, etc.) Proven ability to deliver high-quality units within tight timelines Strong communication and coordination skills Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities Comfortable leading teams and managing multiple handovers in parallel Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently Full driving licence and flexibility to work across active sites in the Greater Dublin Area Benefits: Competitive salary with performance-based bonus Pension scheme with employer contributions Full private health insurance Company vehicle (role dependent) Paid maternity and paternity leave Extra company-paid annual leave days Income protection & life assurance Ongoing CPD support and development programmes Employee wellbeing support services Travel tax-saver and cycle-to-work schemes Culture & engagement initiatives Apply now to join a team that values quality, community, and career growth.
