Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our client based in Norwich. You must have at least 2 years of experience working with fire systems, emergency lighting, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
What You’ll Do:
*
Install, maintain, and repair fire and security systems to BAFE and SSAIB standards
*
Commission systems and explain how they work to customers
*
Diagnose faults and complete reports accurately and on time
*
Join an out-of-hours call-out rota (around once every 6 weeks)
*
Support your team with technical knowledge and problem-solving
What You’ll Need:
*
At least 2 years of relevant experience
*
Knowledge of BS5839:1, BS5266:1, BS7671
*
Experience working to BAFE SP203-1 and SSAIB standards
*
Strong customer service and communication skills
*
IT skills and the ability to use relevant software
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Right to work in the UK
