Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Package: Company vehicle, overtime, door-to-door pay
Role Overview:
Our client, a well-established leader in the fire and security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join their growing team in London. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art fire and security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarms, ensuring the safety and security of a diverse range of customers. The role also offers excellent benefits such as a company vehicle, overtime pay, and door-to-door pay.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance: Install, service, and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and more.
Technical Support: Diagnose system faults, provide efficient solutions, and carry out repairs as required.
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that clients' needs are met and all systems are functioning properly.
Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Documentation: Complete accurate service reports, risk assessments, and system testing documentation.
Door-to-Door Pay: Travel across London to job sites with door-to-door pay included.
Overtime: Overtime is available and encouraged, with payment above standard working hours.Key Requirements:
Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems (e.g., fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control).
A valid UK driving license (company vehicle will be provided).
Relevant certifications such as FIA, NSI, ECS card, or similar are desirable.
Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of current fire and security regulations and standards.
