Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Surveyor for a permanent position with a well known housing association based in South Manchester - One Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest fire safety standards across a portfolio of residential properties in the Manchester area.

Description
Conduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by care takers/ external providers on One Manchester's housing stock
Producing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations
Pre & Post works sign off
Ensuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations.
Providing fire safety advice and training to staff and residents.
Working closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies.
Managing fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion.
Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.
Contributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures.
Supporting the wider building safety team.
Providing Technical Support.
Engaging with customers.
Contractor management.Profile
Relevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications
Experience working in a similar role for a residential provider
Thorough understanding of fire safety within social housing
Management of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
