Fixed Plant Fitter
Hull
£48,000 Basic (NIGHTS based role) + Overtime Paid at Higher Rates + Training + Progression + Pension (6%) + Holiday + Healthcare + Benefits + Permanent role
Do you have a background or experience as a Mechanical/Plant fitter working on the maintenance, repairs and breakdowns of plant machinery?
Links Recruitment Group present a great opportunity for a Fitter to join a large and well-established company that continue to grow and have opportunities for training and progression. Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and day to day running of all fixed plant machinery to best practice standards to ensure production is maintained at the highest possible level.
Main Duties
* Immediately respond to and assist in the correction of plant breakdowns
* Provide technical support to Supervisors in plant operation
* Recommend and implement cost reduction initiatives within the plant
* Assisting in the operation of the Site to ensure plant availability and production is maintained at the highest possible level
* Committed to achieving plant availability and production targets
* Demonstrate personal responsibility for all Safety, Health, Environment, Community, and Sustainability (SHECS) policies, procedures, and initiatives
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality requirements
* Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and initiatives relevant to job
* Support training and performance-management initiatives
The Person
* Experience in a similar role working on Plant Machinery
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Relevant Mechanical Qualifications (desirable)
* Ability to work in fast moving, ever changing production environment
* Ability to work as part of multi-disciplined team and also on own initiative
* Experience in medium to heavy industry
* Knowledge of health and safety
Salary: £48,000 - nights based role
Hours: 17:00pm – 1:30am Monday to Thursday, 17:00pm – 12:30am FridayBefore You Apply
