Part-Time Fleet Administrator – Knebworth | £12–£13 per hour | 30 hours per week | Mon–Fri | Plant hire & construction support Support a busy logistics and fleet team in a well-established, close-knit plant hire business with long-term staff and modern systems. Benefits of the Fleet Administrator: Hourly rate: £12–£13 per hour Part-time hours: 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week) 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro rata) Pension scheme On-site parking Supportive, long-standing team Family-run business with excellent staff retention Potential to go full time in the future  As a Part-Time Fleet Administrator, you will support the day-to-day running of the fleet, plant, and transport departments. From updating databases and monitoring compliance to assisting with logistics and certification tracking, this role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You'll work closely with drivers, the plant team, and the wider logistics department to ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Maintain internal databases with accurate fleet, plant, and transport records Respond to calls and emails in a professional and timely manner Track driver certifications and training, ensuring full compliance Coordinate vehicle MOTs, servicing, tax, and insurance Liaise with site operatives and drivers regarding vehicle and plant queries Assist with plant equipment certification and documentation Support route planning and daily vehicle movement schedules Help maintain yard organisation, compliance, and material stock awareness To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a: Fleet Administrator, Transport Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, Plant Hire Administrator, Operations Assistant, Compliance Administrator, Office Coordinator, Vehicle Scheduler, Yard Administrator, Fleet Coordinator Apply now to join a supportive, respected company that values attention to detail and teamwork in a flexible, part-time role.
