Job Description
We’re currently looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Tilbury, handling a variety of goods including timber panel products, cocoa, and coffee sacks.
This is a hybrid FLT role, meaning you’ll be required to operate the forklift and assist with general warehouse duties. Please note this is a physically demanding position – sacks of food produce can weigh up to 70kg, and teamwork is essential when handling these items.
Key Duties:
* Unloading containers using a counterbalance forklift
* Palletising and moving heavy bags (up to 70kg) as part of a team
* Supporting general warehouse tasks as needed
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
* Comfortable with physical work
* Flexible with working days if delays occur (usually Monday to Friday)
* Able to work as part of a team
Pay: £14.20 – £14.77 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday ( 10:00–18:00 or 06:00–14:00 )
