Job Description
Trade Mastermind is a leading business growth consultancy dedicated to empowering tradespeople and construction entrepreneurs to scale their businesses through expert training, coaching, and strategic support. As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled Ontraport expert to build and optimise our internal CRM systems and support long-term operational efficiency.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced freelance CRM Builder Specialist to join us at our office on a full-time, project basis. The right candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and refining our CRM infrastructure using Ontraport, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our sales, marketing, programme delivery, and client service functions.
This is a hands-on, strategic role with the opportunity to make a significant impact across the entire customer journey.
Accommodation support can be considered for the right candidate willing to be on-site for the project duration.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and customise our CRM system within Ontraport to suit Trade Mastermind’s operational needs and customer journey.
* Design and implement advanced automations, marketing campaigns, and sales funnels.
* Create and optimise landing pages, email sequences, web forms, and membership areas.
* Integrate Ontraport with third-party tools and platforms, including payment systems, scheduling tools, and analytics.
* Establish and manage tagging structures, segmentation, user roles, and data workflows.
* Ensure system usability for internal teams and provide training and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, customer service, and programme teams to deliver tailored CRM solutions.
* Maintain best practices in data handling and ensure full GDPR compliance.
Key Requirements
* Extensive hands-on experience with Ontraport, with a portfolio of CRM builds or transformations.
* Deep understanding of CRM strategy, automation, customer segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments.
* Must be available to work on-site at Trade Mastermind HQ for the duration of the project.
* Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in high-growth, service-based or training/coaching environments.
* Familiarity with CRM performance tracking, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
* Knowledge of integrations with platforms such as Stripe, Calendly, Zapier, etc.
