Full Time Behaviour Mentor - Eastleigh - Challenging and Rewarding SEN School
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as available
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team at a specialist SEN Secondary School in Eastleigh. This is a full-time role working with students who require consistent behaviour support and positive role modelling.
The Role:
*
Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges
*
Building positive relationships and promoting emotional regulation
*
Working 1:1 and in small groups under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff
*
Assisting in de-escalating situations and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment
*
Contributing to behaviour plans and pastoral support strategies
Requirements:
*
Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs (school-based or equivalent)
*
A calm, patient and confident approach
*
Able to commit to full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm
*
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*
A genuine passion for supporting SEN students
