Job Description
We require an experienced Tutor to deliver Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry level to Level 3 to assist the Tutor team to provide support to pupils with moderate learning needs and ASD.
The school we are recruiting for is based in Childwall for children who have Moderate Learning Needs and ASD. The School knows what all of their pupils can achieve, if they are able to experience a curriculum, learning environment and support, which meets their individual needs.
This role is a part time role working 2 days per week (the days can be discussed). Working hours are 8:30-15:30. Daily rates range from £120 per day to £150 per day.
You must be conversant with the Functional Skills curriculum as you will be responsible for teaching functional skills, predominantly Maths, English & Employability.
You will support the Tuition Team in embedding functional skills into the programme curriculum, setting objectives and targets for achievement as well as contributing to quality assurance and the annual review process.
You must be experienced in teaching Maths and English and be able to diagnose learner’s literacy, numeracy and ICT needs and requirements by using various diagnostic testing and mock tests.
