Qualified Gas Engineer Required
A Lings Group Limited is a family-run business specializing in domestic and commercial skilled trades, with a strong reputation as emergency contractors. As we continue to take our business to new heights, we are seeking qualified and experienced gas engineers to join our dynamic team. We are offering a permanent position for a qualified gas engineer. The ideal candidate MUST possess a full UK driving license and valid ACS qualifications. We are recruiting across all South London postcodes, with a salary range of £37,000 to £47,500, depending on experience.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working independently, be flexible during our busier periods, and demonstrate a genuine passion for the industry. A strong team player with a can-do attitude is essential. The role involves working across various locations within the M25 (South).
What we require from you:
* ACS qualifications
* Clean full UK driving license (up to 3 points acceptable)
* Unvented G3 qualification (desirable)
* CSCS Skilled Trade Card (desirable)
* Asbestos awareness certification
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience
* Own hand tools
* Valid DBS certificate
* Two references from previous employers
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Repairing leaks in copper, plastic pipework, and waste pipes
* Repairing and installing radiators
* Understanding hot and cold water systems
* Working with and understanding unvented hot water systems
* Performing 1st and 2nd fix installations for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems
* Conducting power flushing
* Handling boiler breakdowns, installations, and servicing

Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 45 hours per week (basic salary; call-out rota paid per job)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
