Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join a leading Housing Association . The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and experience in gas installations, repairs, and services. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising various tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient gas systems. The Gas Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities You'll be based in Bracknell, Castle and surrounding areas.With your expertise, you’ll carry out various works including gas servicing, repairs and installation for our customers in a timely manner whilst maintaining the quality of the work to the highest of standardsYou'll primarily carry out boiler repairs and servicing alongside installation work when required at times. You’ll work closely with your team by providing them with support as and when required.In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your ‘can do’ attitude to provide a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service to our customers. Provide you with your uniform, a van fitted with a van vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools. You'll require to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis so a clean driving license is a must! Requirements * Proven experience as a Gas Engineer in social housing. * at least 5/6 years qualified * Ability to conduct installs, services and repairs * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to the trade. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. * Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during work tasks. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. * Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
