Job Description

We are seeking a passionate General Science Teacher to join their team and inspire students to explore the world of science. This role begins June 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Engage students in practical investigations, experiments, and real-world applications of science.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback and targeted support.
Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular science activities, STEM clubs, and educational trips.Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5, if applicable).
A passion for science and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students as a General Science Teacher.
