General Teaching Assistant

Teach Now is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Ealing to recruit a General Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a full-time, temporary position that offers the chance to work across Key Stages 3 to 5, supporting students and teachers in a vibrant and forward-thinking learning environment.

What you'll be doing:
• Supporting teaching staff across a range of subjects and year groups
• Helping students with classwork, including 1:1 and small group support
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Promoting engagement, motivation, and progress for all learners
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential)
• A genuine interest in education and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
