Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Long Term until July 2025
GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic coeducational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher to inspire and educate students in a supportive and well-resourced school environment.
Responsibilities of a Geography Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Geography Teacher lessons that inspire students.
Create lesson plans that align with the UK National Curriculum.
Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing support where needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Geography department.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Requirements for a Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Geography.
Ability to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Right to work in the UK.
