Job Description
Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced teacher of Geography for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Leeds area.
The role will involve teaching Geography at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required.
The position is due to begin on 1st September 2025 and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to teach Geography up to KS4
* A passion for the subject
* Abilty to generate real pupil progress
* Ability to raise standards throughout
* Create and deliver diverse and engaging lessons
* Excellent communication skills
* Good behaviour management strategies
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
