Are you a highly effective and results-oriented Geography teacher with a passion for ensuring students achieve their full academic potential across all key stages, particularly at A-Level? Our Outstanding school in Havering, London, is seeking a dedicated specialist to inspire and guide our students to success in their Geography studies from Key Stage 3 to A-Level, commencing in September 2025.
In this crucial role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5, you will:
* Maximize Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Geography, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for academic success and future opportunities in higher education and beyond.
* Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Curriculum: Utilize your expertise to deliver well-structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the Geography curricula at all key stages, fostering deep understanding of geographical concepts, processes, and contemporary issues.
* Motivate and Support Learners: Work with a diverse group of students, fostering their geographical understanding and providing the necessary support to enable them to excel in all aspects of the subject, with a particular emphasis on the analytical and essay-writing demands of A-Level.
* Collaborate within a Strong Humanities Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of a high-quality A-Level Geography program.
* Utilize Excellent Resources: Have access to a wide range of resources, including digital technologies, up-to-date geographical data, fieldwork equipment, and dedicated teaching spaces, to enhance your teaching and support student learning in Geography within the Havering context, especially at Key Stage 5.
