Job Description
Network Engineer - Global Enterprise Environment
A leading global company operating in over 100 countries is seeking a Network Engineer to support the operational health and troubleshooting of a large, multi-national corporate network.
Key Responsibilities
Triage, analyse, and resolve network incidents (Cisco, Meraki, and others)
End-to-end incident management, including escalation and stakeholder communication
Act as Major Incident Manager (MIM) when needed
Troubleshoot and configure network devices and services (DNS, DHCP, MX records, etc.)
Interface with service providers and local site contacts
Use NMS tools to diagnose and resolve performance and connectivity issues
Perform packet captures and preliminary analysis
Maintain CMDB and internal Knowledge Base
Assist with implementation of network changes and continuous improvementRequirements
5+ years' experience in enterprise-level network support and configuration
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Meraki dashboard
Experience with WLAN technologies (Cisco/Meraki)
Familiarity with tools like Cisco NSO, ISE, DUO, VMware
Proficient in network protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, SDWAN, VLAN, etc.
Comfortable with packet capture tools and NMS platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, ServiceNow)
CCNA or equivalent hands-on experience required
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
