They are now looking for a Pricing Director to lead their global pricing vision. This is more than a numbers role - it's a strategic seat at the table where you can build your own team. Based in France, you'll shape how innovative solutions - from IoT hardware and edge software to cloud platforms and services - are positioned in every market my client serves in.
Your Mission:
Build a world-class pricing ecosystem that leverages market intelligence, guides strategic decision-making, and enables long-term revenue growth - all while staying aligned with the company's innovation DNA.
What You'll Lead and Deliver:
1. Pricing Intelligence & Strategy
Own the full cycle of pricing intelligence - from data collection and analysis to actionable insights.
Define pricing strategy across all product and solution categories in alignment with financial and strategic goals.
Design and roll out robust pricing processes and governance models, ensuring scalability, compliance, and consistency globally.
Continuously monitor pricing performance and propose strategic adjustments to drive value.
2. Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of the curve with ongoing market and regulatory data collection across regions and industries.
Conduct analyses on market dynamics, competition, and regulatory shifts to inform and refine pricing strategy.
Translate complex market insights into pragmatic guidance for pricing models and product positioning.
3. Price List and Economic Model Optimization
Rationalize and streamline global and regional price lists for clarity and efficiency.
Evaluate pricing based on inflation, currency fluctuations, and market-specific variables.
Guide the harmonization of regional pricing policies where strategically viable.
4. Strategic Collaboration Across the Business
Partner with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Finance, and other departments to embed pricing strategy into the fabric of decision-making.
Support sales teams in pricing proposals for OEMs, key accounts, and strategic projects.
Act as a trusted pricing advisor to leadership and a collaborative force across departments.
What You Bring to the Role:
10+ years of pricing leadership experience in complex, global environments - ideally in tech, industrial, or SaaS-based sectors.
Expertise in pricing intelligence, strategy design, and performance monitoring.
Mastery of data modeling, pricing tools, and financial analytics.
Strong communication and influencing skills in English and FRENCH.
A global mindset with a proactive, agile approach to leading cross-functional initiatives.
Your Educational Background:
Master's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
Additional certifications or training in strategic pricing, finance, or analytics is a plus.
