I am currently recruiting for an enthusiastic graduate for a cover supervisor role in an Ofsted Good Academy in South Manchester.
The role is from September 2025 on a full-time temporary contract until July 2026.
The Role
Cover Supervisor Monday to Friday 8.20 - 3.20pm
The role will include:
Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
Delivering pre-planned lessons
Using provided resources to encourage learning
Managing the behaviour within the classroom
Developing independent study skills and peer learning
Pastoral and learning support
Managing handover back to the teacherThe school are ideally looking for a graduate with a good degree in maths, science or humanities and good GCSEs with A*- C or 6 -9 grades in maths, English and Science.

To join us and be successful in this cover supervisor role, you will need to:
a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with children aged 11 to 16

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent qualification
