Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Abingdon, delivering high-quality maintenance services to a variety of clients. This role involves working outdoors as part of a team to ensure green spaces are kept in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance.
Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines.
Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.
Work efficiently within a team to meet service standards and deadlines.
Operate various tools and equipment, such as strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers.
Requirements:
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Full, valid UK Driving License (essential).
Willingness to learn and take part in training.
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
Experience working in a busy team and providing high-quality service.
Previous experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role (desirable but not essential).
