Experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Member

Airwaves FM is a leading provider of professional landscaping services, delivering high-quality grounds maintenance across commercial sites, including new housing developments, commercial premises, and local authority projects.
We are looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Members & Team Leaders to join our team. If you’re a skilled professional with a passion for grounds maintenance and strong leadership abilities, we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will be offered potential to be a team leader in this region for our grounds maintenance services.
Your Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring that our sites are maintained to the highest standards while managing a dedicated team of grounds maintenance operative(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
• Plan and coordinate daily tasks, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Grounds Maintenance
• Carry out and supervise grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and leaf blowing.
• Operate and maintain a variety of professional equipment, including ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers.
• Apply best practices to enhance the visual appeal and upkeep of commercial sites.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance
• Optimize the use of resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

✔️ Proven experience in grounds maintenance, particularly within commercial settings.
✔️ Previous leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
✔️ Proficiency in operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment.
✔️ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
✔️ Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
✔️ Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations related to grounds maintenance.
