Job Description
Hays are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to assist our client in ensuring the outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be working with Chelmsford and your main responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep. You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you.
This is a full-time, seasonal position where you will be working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and this will be for around 8 months.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment
* General maintenance of grounds, e.g. grass cutting, clearing of debris, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming
* Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride on machinery
* Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery
Key requirements:
* Full driving licence
* Experience of using gardening power tools
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
* Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
