Job Description
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist contractor that operate throughout South Wales and South West England. They undertake contracts for a range of clients including local authorities, major contracting groups, universities, colleges, individual sports clubs, and private clients.
About the Role:
As a Groundworker you will play a crucial role in delivering sports turf renovation projects for a wide range of clients. From community sports clubs to elite facilities, you will help maintain and elevate the standards of natural sports surfaces across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Kerbing/path edgings
Shuttering and formations
Creating pathways
Slabbing
Drainage works/manholes
Fencing works
Ducting/trench works
Asphalt/Tarmac
Soil/earth works
Hard/Soft landscaping
Levels/setting outWorking Hours 7:30 to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:00 Friday.
Essential Requirements:
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Willingness to work away from home when required.Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of sports turf management practices.
