Job Title: GRP Laminator – Hand Lay-Up / Trimming / Fibreglass
Location: Aldridge, West Midlands
Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:45pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for an experienced GRP Laminator to join a leading manufacturing business based in Aldridge (West Midlands). This role is ideal for candidates with a background in fibreglass laminating, hand lay-up, and GRP trimming, looking for consistent day shifts and long-term work.
As a GRP Technician / Laminator, you will be responsible for the manufacture of high-quality GRP components using hand lay-up techniques. This role offers an early finish and a 4-day working week – ideal for work-life balance.
Key Duties:
*
GRP Laminating using hand lay-up methods
*
Working with fibreglass matting, resin, and gel coats
*
Trimming, cutting, and finishing GRP components to specification
*
Preparing moulds and applying release agents
*
Reading and following engineering drawings, job cards, and work instructions
*
Performing basic quality checks and visual inspection
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Benefits:

£13.00 per hour – paid weekly

Day shifts: Monday to Thursday only – 3-day weekend every week
