Handyperson Wanted – General Maintenance & Repairs
A growing property services company based near Woodburn Green is seeking a reliable and skilled multi-trader to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive business, delivering a range of repair, maintenance, and refurbishment services across residential and commercial properties.
Whether you're in the early stages of your career or have extensive hands-on experience, we’re looking for individuals who are proactive, practical, and take pride in high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, carpentry, tiling, decorating, flooring, basic electrics, and general DIY
* Complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Keep accurate records and report any issues or follow-up requirements
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a handyman/multi-trade role
* Broad knowledge of trades such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, tiling, and electrics – expertise in all is not required, but versatility is essential
* Strong electrical skills are an advantage
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good problem-solving ability and a positive, flexible attitude
* Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
* Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card provided for work use)
* Right to work in the UK
* Own hand tools required (specialist tools and PPE provided)
* Open to self-employed candidates with own van and tools
Benefits:
* Competitive salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience
