* Inspire students by linking theoretical knowledge to real-world care settings, fostering an understanding of health, well-being, and social care principles.
* Prepare students thoroughly for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for progression to higher education or careers in the health and social care sectors.
* Contribute to the development of innovative teaching resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment as a key Health and Social Care Teacher within the team.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing tailored feedback to support their academic and personal development.
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, You Offer:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK (e.g., PGCE with relevant subject specialism).
* A strong degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a closely related field, or significant relevant vocational experience.
* Proven experience and success in teaching Health and Social Care qualifications (e.g., BTEC, Cambridge Technicals) at Key Stages 4 and 5.
* A genuine passion for the health and social care sector and the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills, essential for an effective Health and Social Care Teacher.
