Job Description
Russell Taylor are seeking additional class 1 drivers to work for a client based in Bradford.
The role will involve a mixture of a small number of drops and trunk work to various depots throughout England.
We are currently looking for both Day and Night drivers working Monday to Friday.
Days: £15.75 p/h
Nights: £16.75 p/h
Start times are between (Apply online only) for days and (Apply online only) for nights.
Duties
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
* Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
* HGV Class 1 licence with at least 2 years experience (for insurance purposes)
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving large vehicles.
* Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer serviceBefore You Apply
