Job Description
Our client in Castle Donington, a well-known logistics company are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers. There will be permanent opportunities for experienced drivers that prove themselves to be reliable and have a good work ethic.
The role will be starting immediately!
Duties
* Driving depo to depo, drop and swap (it will be 3 runs per day to Staffordshire and back)
* Deliver mixed size goods from large car parts to small packaging items
* Ensuring that the load is safely strapped in line with legislation
* No heavy lifting for the driver
* Safety operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle
* Transport goods and materials to their designated locations
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the deliveries vehicle
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Requirements
* Holding a valid CPC and Taco Card
* Valid Class 1 HGV license
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a class 1 driver
* Not more then 6 points
* Communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shifts & Pay
* Pay Rate : £16.25
* Overtime Pay Rate (for anything worked over 48 hours) : £20.35
* All shifts are Monday-Friday (no weekends), and start times can be from 04:00 to 21:00.

* Castle Donington, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
* HGV Class 1: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
* Tacho and CPC (required)
