Job Description
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Avonmouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Driver (CAT C&E) to join the team on nights part time.
Hours: Friday & Sunday nights with additional shifts to pick up through the week when available.
Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour PAYE
Location: Avonmouth , BS11
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
* Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
* 40 hour workweeks for full time positions but flexible contracts are an option.
Requirements:
* · Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
* · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* · Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* · Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
* · Excellent communication skills.
* · A safety-first mindset.
