Job Description
Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers, for our prestigious client based in Stoke-On-Trent.
This role requires a minimum of one year of experience in HGV driving.
PAYE rates paid per hour as below:
Days (Apply online only) - £16.77
Nights (Apply online only) - £17.77
O/T Days (After 8 hours daily) - £25.15
O/T Nights (After 8 hours daily - £26.70
Bank Holiday O/T Days - £25.15
Bank Holiday O/T Nights - £26.70
Triple time Bank holiday for Chirstmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Various start times are available.
Your Time at Work
The role mainly consists of Class 1 Trunking operations;
- Transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
- Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols. - Cooperate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness.
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.
Our Perfect Worker
Requirements:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, (12 month minimum)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
