Job Description
We are recruiting a HGV Class 2 driver for our Telford based client. The hours of work are between Monday to Friday. You must have a minimum of 2 years class 2 driving experience. A DBS check may be required for the position, which the company would take.
Paying £14.75ph, after 40 hours £18.43ph
Role of HGV Class 2 driver
Driving and Collections
* HGV Class 2 driver to carry out collections of electrical waste according to the daily schedule, Collections cover majority of the UK including but not limited to London, Cornwall and Wales.
* Safely load, secure, and transport goods to and from specified locations.
* Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues to management.
* Complete relevant delivery and collection paperwork accurately including waste documentation, counts, and scanning onto spreadsheets.
* Provide professional and courteous service to all customers during collections.
Working hours
* Working hours: 40, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime paid at a premium after 40 hours.
* Location: Telford
