Job Description
Temp to Perm position.
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our growing team. Work will involve mutidrop using a tail lift when needed and some possible handball. Whether you are a Class 2 driver that wants to work 1-day, all week, or various days to suit your home/work life balance, we want to hear from you.
HGV Class 2 Driver will need:
* Cat-C Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
* Experience with ratchet straps
* Experience in a fast-paced multi-drop environment
* Excellent customer service skills and good literacy
* Full UK Driving licence, Class 2 entitlement held for a minimum of 2 years.
* Able to work to tight deadlines
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include:
* Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
* Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
* Maintaining regular contact with the traffic office on daily progress
* Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
* Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner
£16 p/h for the first eight hours, £20 overtime.(45min break will be deducted per day)Before You Apply
