As an HGV Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Dayshifts starting circa 9.30 AM.
42 hours guaranteed, with overtime paid at time and a half
About the RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver at Whistl, you will:
Operate and maintain your HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide exceptional customer service,
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A valid HGV licence
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
Digital tachograph card
Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and no more than 3 points on your licence
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Ability to handle physical demands, including heavy lifting and long hours on the road
Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
