Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit for a number of HGV drivers for an ongoing contract in Wolverhampton.
Role Requirements of a HGV Driver:
* Weekday and Weekend shifts
* Class 1 - £15.50 - £17.93 Per Hour
* Class 2 - £13.50 to 15.69 Per Hour
* Weekends paid at a higher rate
* Various starts available between 5am – 8am
* Must hold a HGV driver entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho
* Ideally you would need to have no more than 6 points but endorsements such as DD/DR/IN cannot be considered due to insurance criteria.
* Must have at least 6 months’ work on license.
Role Responsibilities HGV Driver:
* Safely operate either a HGV vehicle doing general haulage work across the UK – this role is a varied one with local multidrops and long distance trunking style work, so no two shifts are the same.
* Ensure timely and efficient delivery.
* Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
* Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
* Complete all required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
