About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Exeter-based team within a well-established main dealership. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician or HGV mechanic to take the next step in their career, with access to world-class training and long-term development.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to manufacturer standards
Perform fault diagnostics and troubleshooting using the latest tools and software
Ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to high-quality standards
Follow warranty procedures and maintain clear records of work and parts used
Work closely with the parts department to ensure correct components are ordered and fitted
Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a workshop or dealership
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional qualifications such as Class 1 licence or IRTEC are desirable
