Location: Belfast
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join a leading company in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to secure a well-paid and rewarding position within a forward-thinking and supportive team.
As an HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to meet DVSA standards.
Identifying and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
Performing routine maintenance, including brake, suspension, engine, and gearbox repairs.
Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
Responding to breakdowns and providing on-site repairs when required.
Ensuring accurate completion of job cards, records, and reports.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.Key Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (HGV).
A valid HGV licence (Class 1 or Class 2) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, fault-finding, and vehicle systems.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.What’s on Offer
